The skills page
Two things climb as you play. **Your skills** rise by doing the thing. Harvests raise farming, catches raise fishing, meals raise cooking. Selling raises nothing, so you cannot buy your way up. **Your standing** in the valley rises from quests and from everything else you do. It is what the town looks at before it lets you buy good tools or take on livestock. Levels open content rather than adding percentages. A crop, a fish, a seam, a recipe, an animal. The skills page always tells you what the next one gives you. ## Energy Swinging a tool costs energy. Walking and running do not. Run out and you are done working until it comes back. Eat something, or sleep it off. Food is the fast way back, and a proper cooked meal goes much further than a raw carrot. ## Your bag

Thirty slots, and the top row is your hotbar, so what you are holding and what is in your bag never disagree.
